The Kumon organisation is a leading worldwide supplementary education provider. Kumon was started 50 years ago in Japan by Toru Kumon, a teacher and parent who was striving to give his own son the best start in life. The success of his unique instructional method spread rapidly and today over 4 million children in 44 countries across the world study with Kumon.
There are over 550 study centres throughout the UK and Ireland, run by trained Kumon Instructors. Students would typically attend a study centre twice a week where they interact with their Instructor and go about their daily work.
